I created and create Twisted. A comic strip revolving around the little cartoon characters Shaun, Alex, Matt, and later, Sim. The strip has a large video game influence, from the characters to the world around them. Probably not for kids. But who cares.

First I just want to say thank you to all the commentors, I do take your suggestions into consideration, even though you may not believe it. Many subtle changes about my comic happen because of things said on newgrounds.

Be sure to be aware though that I will put my foot down on some things. For example, the character designs are set in stone. The characters of the comic are manifestations of myself and my friends in real life, and characters (especially Shaun and Alex) have put a mark on myself and my fanbase. Also if someone has already complained about something you are about to complain about, you should probably save your breath (or fingers?).

I am purposely making a mock-art comic strip where the characters are geometric and the space they live in is an endless white abyss. Although blank backgrounds are a common and lazy concept, I believe that the abyss is more real in Twisted then in most comics (once you get into it). Because of the limited number of people in the world and the frequency of appearance of the popular main characters, the abyss feels to me a strange unanswered mystery that the characters themselves may not know the answer to. Another reoccurring mystery is when the main character, 'Shaun,' will take on the persona and guise of another person, such as a video game character.

Another thing I have noticed with most viewers is that some people love some comics and hate others. And some people love the hated comics and hate the loved! It has really opened my mind to understanding that every viewer has a very different style compared to their fellow viewer. So make sure you give the series a chance and don't judge everything by a single strip!

Also for people who love to accuse me of stealing ideas, I just want you to remember that I do this for free. I make no money from it. If I were to make money from it, that would be awesome! But I do not. Wasting hours making a comic by stealing someone else's idea seems a little daft to me, since I do this as my creative outlet.

Twisted is a creation of my brain and is powered by my heart. The comics are for anyone that enjoys them, free of cost, and always will be. Some you may disagree with my style, being it is simplistic and often overdone by the online community (which is true). By nonetheless, my comics are me. I am an eccentric gamer with a passion for retardation at its funniest, and that will always be consistent with my comics. I do have a growing non-gamer fanbase, and the comics will more often be about things anyone can relate to. And don't worry, where not every comic strip will take bounds into the future in terms of quality and awesomeness. Those bounds to have a tendency to happen.

Also I love it when I get positive comments, because due to the lazyness of the common internet surfer, I don't get many. Which is cool, but if you really like my comics and want to see all of them and catch all the new ones immediately, you should join the I love Twisted Facebook group. The more subscribers I have, the more motivated I will be to make more! So please support me if you care to!

I want to finish by sending out a large ENJOY! to everyone out there. Continue pursuing what makes you happy! :)
